WHY THIS NOTICE

This page describes the methods of managing the website with reference to the processing of personal data of users who consult it. This information notice is also provided pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of the GDPR and the relevant implementing legislation to those who interact with the web service of the data controller Comune di San Vincenzo, accessible online at the address: https://www.comune.sanvincenzo.li.it/ corresponding to the homepage of the data controller’s official website.

This privacy notice applies solely to the owner’s website and not to other websites that may be accessed by the user via links.

The information notice is also inspired by Recommendation no. 2/2001 issued by the European data protection authorities, brought together in the Group established by Art. 29 of Directive no. 95/46/EC, adopted on 17 May 2001 to identify certain minimum requirements for the collection of personal data online, and, in particular, the methods, timing and nature of the information that data controllers must provide to users when they access web pages, regardless of the purpose of the connection.

THE DATA CONTROLLER

Following consultation of this site, data relating to identified or identifiable individuals may be processed.

The „owner“ of their treatment is the Municipality of San Vincenzo, which has its headquarters in Via Beatrice Alliata 4.

In addition to employees of the Municipality of San Vincenzo, these data are processed, in the role of Data Processor, by Hospitality Factory Srl, which carries out information systems management and maintenance activities on behalf of the Municipality of San Vincenzo.

Some processing operations may also be carried out by other third parties, to whom the Municipality of San Vincenzo entrusts certain activities, or parts thereof, that are instrumental to the provision of the service. In such cases, these parties will be appointed as Data Processors or persons in charge of the processing.

The Municipality of San Vincenzo will provide appropriate operational instructions to the persons responsible or those appointed, if designated, with particular reference to the adoption of minimum security measures, in order to guarantee the confidentiality and security of the data.

The data may also be disclosed, upon request, to the competent authorities, in compliance with obligations arising from mandatory legal provisions.

DATA CONTROLLER

The company Hospitality Factory Srl has been appointed as Data Processor pursuant to Article 28 of EU Regulation 679/2016 (GDPR), as it is responsible for the maintenance of the technological part of the website.

DATA PROCESSING LOCATION

The processing related to the web services of this site takes place at the aforementioned registered office of the data controller and is carried out exclusively by staff from the Office appointed for processing. If necessary, data related to the newsletter service may be processed by staff of the company responsible for maintaining the technological part of the site, Hospitality Factory Srl (Data Processor), at the company’s own premises.

No data resulting from the web service is communicated or disclosed, except in cases expressly provided for by law. The personal data provided by users is used solely for the purpose of delivering the requested service or performance and is communicated to third parties only when strictly necessary for this purpose.

TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED

  • Browsing data

The computer systems and software procedures responsible for the operation of this website acquire, during their normal functioning, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified individuals, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the site, addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and IT environment. These data are used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to monitor its proper functioning, and are deleted immediately after processing. The data may be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes against the site: except for this eventuality, at present, website contact data do not persist for more than seven days.

  • Data provided voluntarily by the user.

The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of electronic mail to the addresses indicated on this site entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, which is necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message. Specific summary information notices will be progressively provided or displayed on the pages of the site set up for particular services on request.

No personal data of users is acquired by the site in this regard. No cookies are used for the transmission of personal information, nor are any so-called persistent cookies or systems for tracking users employed. Failure to provide such data may make it impossible to obtain the requested service. For the sake of completeness, it should be noted that in some cases (not part of the ordinary management of this site) the Authority may request information and details pursuant to Article 157 of the Personal Data Protection Code, as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018, for the purpose of monitoring the processing of personal data. In such cases, a response is mandatory under penalty of administrative sanction.
